Compact Fluorescent light bulbs consume less energy than incandescent bulbs, but up until now they have been limited by two disadvantages: their large size, which makes them too big for certain fixtures, and the heat output, which makes them unsuitable for enclosed equipment where the heat restrictions of electronic components apply.
THHC Lighting is happy to introduce Neoball Z. The world's smallest fluorescent bulb in the 60-watt equivalent class, it's about the same size as a conventional incandescent bulb.
Although it looks like an ordinary light bulb on the outside, the Neoball Z contains a U-shaped fluorescent tube that measures 10 millimeters in diameter.
The inverter has also been miniaturized to the point where the new bulb can be used in more than 90% of the fixtures that currently accommodate only conventional bulbs.
Although the light emitted by the Neoball Z is equivalent to that of a 60-watt incandescent bulb, the new bulb consumes only one-quarter of the electricity and has a service life six times as long.
